How it All Started
Bear Creek Marina was founded in 1973 as Factory Shoals Marina. We still have a steel beam supporting the covered porch area where you can see the old name painted. As a premier access point to Lake Jackson, one of the oldest reservoirs in the state of Georgia, Bear Creek has come to be known for its restaurant/bar, live entertainment, gas, storage, and campground.
